I have just wrapped up this design. I really wanted to
achieve a fairly simple pinafore dress, introducing some fair isle work, which
I love doing, and hopefully will get other knitters interested in trying Fair
Isle knitting.
Knitted on circular needles from the bottom up, absolutely
no seaming involved. When you have finished knitting, all you have to do is sew
in the ends, and the buttons. The pinafore could be knitted in beautiful
summery colours, using a cotton yarn, or stick with the traditional wool yarn
and have a little winter pinny that you can pop over long sleeved tops.
The pattern is currently being test knitted and will be
technical edited, ready for release by end of January, all going well.
I have a variety of patterns available for purchase and download. Please feel free to visit my shops for more information:

ReplyDeleteHi, Could you please be a little more specific regarding your query. Sorry, I am have trouble trying to understand what you are meaning regarding ‘summary instructions for size C, conflict with the row by row directions for size C?’
ReplyDeletePlease note: this pattern has been technical edited, and also test knitted. I have added a few responses from knitters who have completed this project, see some comments below.
sweet dress and easy to follow pattern...
There’s a new baby coming into the family in May and I have to knit my newest cousin a dress! This pattern is absolutely adorable and has to be one of the most intuitive knits I’ve done so far. This will be my go-to baby dress!....
One of best written patterns ever. I didn’t even have a start over, excellent! Used yard called Sheldridge, not found in this data base, purchased at Rhinebeck 2016
Lovely, lovely pattern!
