KNITTING PATTERN ONLY - Marygold Sweater - P154

Just in time for your holiday knitting!!! This top down sweater is worked in the round on circular 

needles, with a simple lace pattern which adorns the yoke. Sizes from toddlers through to XL adult.

When dividing for sleeves, work body in the round on circular needle, work sleeves in the round on double pointed needles/ short circular needle. 

This pattern has been test knitted and graded by my Technical editor, and double checked by a second

technical editor, also comes with Charts and written instructions, plus a schematic. I have rated this as

Intermediate however I have received feedback from some  of the test knitters as follows …….

advanced beginner. It would helpful for the knitter to have some experience with

increases and lace stitches.

I would rate it as beginner with some lace experience. There is nothing difficult in the pattern. I think it

would be a good pattern for beginners to learn how to knit a top town sweater, since it is very clear.

Children Sizes: 1-2 yrs -- 3-4 yrs -- 5-6 yrs --7-8 yrs --9-10 yrs -- 11-12 yrs --13-14 yrs
Adult Sizes: XS --S -- M --  L -- XL

Inspiration for the design of this sweater and hat came from our time spent in Norway. My husband is Norwegian and over the years we have been back there many times. I fell in love with his beautiful country and loved the Fair isle and hardanger designs. This little jumper is not difficult to knit up and I have tried to keep the Fair isle simple, in the hope that the knitters out there that have been too daunted by knitting fair isle give this a go. Once you have started you will fall in love with this form of knitting.

KNITTING PATTERN - Christmas sweater with pocket and reindeers - P068

This sweet little Christmas jumper has a big front pocket (to keep their special little trinkets in), with Reindeers and love hearts splashed across the chest. It's designed to be a very generous fit, with plenty of ease.

The pattern comes with Fair Isle charts for each individual size. You could break away from the traditional red and white and use blue and white, which also looks very effective.

Knitting Pattern - Lillesand Sweater - P155 

The sweater is knitted flat from the top down, increasing throughout the yoke.  The sleeve stitches are

placed on hold, they will be picked up and completed after the body of the sweater has been worked. 

The front bands are then picked up and worked in 2 x 2 Rib.

The pattern has been test knitted and Technical edited, and comes with a schematic.

The feedback I have received from test knitters is that this pattern is a great start for the adventurous to

confident Beginner who is ready to add simple Fair Isle (stranded work) to their skills.
