Luv u forever

I have just wrapped up this design. I really wanted to achieve a fairly simple pinafore dress, introducing some fair isle work, which I love doing, and hopefully will get other knitters interested in trying Fair Isle knitting.

Knitted on circular needles from the bottom up, absolutely no seaming involved. When you have finished knitting, all you have to do is sew in the ends, and the buttons. The pinafore could be knitted in beautiful summery colours, using a cotton yarn, or stick with the traditional wool yarn and have a little winter pinny that you can pop over long sleeved tops.

The pattern is currently being test knitted and will be technical edited, ready for release by end of January, all going well.

I have a variety of patterns available for purchase and download. Please feel free to visit my shops for more information:

Pretty in Pink - Round Yoke Cardigan

This sweet little jacket is knitted from the bottom up, sleeves worked on the flat and then joined to the yoke, which means minimal seaming, and is perfect for dressing up any outfit. Would certainly dress up baby’s Christening outfit if knitted in traditional white.

Peaceful woodland

After a lovely break spending time with family this Christmas, I have found some new inspiration for the year ahead, as I dabble with woodland themes.  Below I have featured one of my daughter’s favourite cardigans for the kids.

This pattern is relatively easy and suitable for the knitter who has mastered the art of the knit and purl stitches, and ready for the next step. Cable owls are simple, and a great way to learn the cable technique.
